Ideophone came together with long time collaborator The Vernon Spring at their Arboretum studio in South London over a weekend in April 2021. Joined by bass heavyweight Tom Herbert, drummer Alexis Nunez and violinist Flora Curzon the recordings evolved into April; a 5 track EP of immersive improvised music set for release in July.

Continuing Ideophones exploration of subtle pulsating guitars, piano ripples and soaring string melodies. The quietly atmospheric "Waning Crescent” subtly draws you in with clever improvisation and interplay creating a beautifully immersive listening experience
