I think I was hesitant to order this at first wondering 'if there was enough there?' But now having listen through a few times I see just how rich and deep VS's compositions and playing are. For me, the playing is a bit like Evans in the phrasing, but also a bit like Monk as the resonance of the space between the notes carry their own weight. You can tell by the other reviewers how much this work offers each of us on an individual level. So, don't be like me... hesitant... just buy this.
